Welcome to RSHC Snapshot, a site for healthcare industry corporate communicators. Mondays through Fridays here, you’ll find:

Snapshot is designed to be the site I could have used during my years with a leading pharmaceutical company’s Corporate Communications group. I got all the company news daily, but it took more time and effort to stay current on what was happening industrywide. That’s the news that makes a difference in how quickly you can find opportunities and recognize brewing controversies. I also found it challenging to keep up with web 2.0′s impact on our profession. My company, for good reasons, was proceeding cautiously into social media, so I needed to look outside to stay stay current for my own professional development. Social media has become an integral part of what we do, as much as press release writing and making media calls.
