2011 BIO International Convention
I’m attending the 2011 BIO International Convention next week in Washington, D.C., where I’ll be browsing, comparing and reporting in RSSnapshot on how companies, universities, countries and communities are persuading each other to partner, invest or relocate. The stakes are higher and the urgency is greater for everyone. Biotechs are competing for less available venture capital, pharmaceutical companies are competing for the most promising potential therapies and technologies, and communities and countries are competing to build their life sciences industry to strengthen their economies in this miserable recession. With communications more than ever a business development priority, I’m expecting to find new and creative approaches by each of these groups. I’m also looking forward to reconnecting with a lot of terrific people, exploring the exhibits hall (steak at the Nebraska booth, anyone? Abba dance party at the Scandinavian booth?) and attending an exciting lineup of sessions. I’ll be commenting on: Tuesday, June 28 -
Wednesday, June 29 –
Thursday, June 30 –
By the way, if you haven’t seen “Bio Clichés Run Amuck!” in BioWorld, you’ll enjoy it http://bit.ly/kEUWjD. One Response to “2011 BIO International Convention”Leave a Reply |
