About Betsy Raymond Stevenson

Betsy’s communications career includes experience as an executive with leading healthcare organizations, most recently at Pfizer, and as a consultant.  She has handled media relations for two major pharmaceutical company acquisitions and conducted media interview training for executives, study investigators and researchers in the US and abroad.  Betsy has long-standing relationships with top-tier business, healthcare, science, lifestyle and biomedical trade reporters in traditional and new media platforms.  She knows the unique communication needs and restrictions regulating compounds and biologicals from discovery through product launch.

Betsy’s work has resulted in Page One articles for clients in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times Business Section, and in-depth pieces on The Today Show and National Public Radio’s “MarketPlace.”

Betsy has been a reporter for ABC Radio and a guest speaker at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She is a speaker and panelist, presenting at organizations including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) and Women Entrepreneurs in Science & Technology (WEST).  Betsy lived in Ghana for six months, developing and launching an 18-country communications strategy for Family Health International’s “Action for West Africa Region HIV/AIDs (AWARE) initiative.  Betsy has also lived in Paris, France, and Hong Kong.
